We’re so pleased you’ll be joining us in the evening to celebrate — the part of the day when the dancing starts and the party really gets going.

The venue
By car
By rail
From Birmingham New Street, take a direct West Midlands Railway train to Hampton-in-Arden — no change required. The journey is typically 13–18 minutes, with trains roughly every 30 minutes. Get off at Hampton-in-Arden (HIA).
By air
Flight time: around 1 hour 20 minutes, with roughly 5–6 flights per day.
From BHX to the venue: approximately 6.5 km / 10 minutes by car (around £10–15 by Uber). Birmingham International railway station is also at the airport.
Car hire: the larger companies (e.g. Hertz, Avis) are right by the terminal, but some local rental firms are a little off-site — they run a shuttle bus that takes you to their depot about 5 minutes from the airport.
By car
Once in the UK, follow the England driving directions to Hampton Manor (see the England tab).
By rail
Route: Utrecht → London St Pancras (approx. 5–6 hours), then London Euston → Birmingham (approx. 2 hours).
Nearest station: Hampton-in-Arden — about 0.5 km / a 10-minute walk from Hampton Manor.

If you’re travelling to join us, there are several hotels and guest houses close to Hampton Manor.
A friendly village inn on the High Street with comfortable en-suite double, twin and family rooms (breakfast included), plus a bar and restaurant. A short walk from Hampton Manor and 500m from the station.
A self-catering five-bedroom home in the village — ideal for a group or family travelling together. Contact Gavin, or search “Hampton-in-Arden” on Airbnb.
A spacious six-bedroom house in the village, well suited to larger groups or families staying together. Search “Hampton-in-Arden” on Airbnb to find Beech House.
A traditional village pub on Main Road, Meriden, with a bar and restaurant and en-suite bedrooms (single, double and family rooms) on site.
An independent four-star, 33-bedroom country hotel near Meriden with stylish king rooms and suites, free parking, and a 2 AA-Rosette restaurant next door.
A large, family-run independent hotel near the NEC and Birmingham Airport, with 216 en-suite bedrooms, free parking (with EV charging) and a leisure club with a 13m pool.
A country-club hotel set in parkland near Meriden, with spacious rooms, two golf courses, a spa and leisure facilities — a relaxed option for a longer stay.

Your stay
We’re so happy you’ll be staying at the Manor with us — and we have a little surprise in store for you.
Your room at Hampton Manor is reserved for the night of the 28th only. If you’d like to arrive earlier or stay on, you’ll need to book somewhere else for those extra nights — there are some options nearby further down this page.
Please arrive at 2pm for the wedding. Room check-in opens later in the afternoon, so there won’t be a space to get ready beforehand — please come already fully dressed for the day.
Drop your bags at Hampton Manor reception and they’ll make sure they’re delivered to your room — so you can simply enjoy the day.
Breakfast is included the following morning. Hampton Manor serves a buffet-style cooked breakfast for overnight guests.
A relaxed morning — no need to rush before checking out.
We’re covering most of the cost of your room as our gift to you. There’s a remaining balance of £150 per room, which you’ll be asked to settle at the reception desk when you check out — please be ready to pay this on the day.

Explore
If you’re staying a little longer, why not make a trip of it? Birmingham is right on your doorstep and well worth exploring, but we’d especially recommend venturing out to Stratford-upon-Avon or Warwick for a taste of the English countryside, history and charm.
We’ve shared a few of our favourite recommendations below to help you make the most of your time here!
When Sophie first came over to England to visit Becky, back in August 2023, the two of them spent that very first trip together exploring Stratford-upon-Avon.
A warm, well-loved Indian restaurant in the heart of town — a lovely spot for dinner after a day of sightseeing.
Drift along the River Avon on a gentle sightseeing cruise — one of the prettiest ways to take in the town.
Visit Shakespeare’s birthplace, then catch a performance at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre on the riverside.
Warwick is woven through our story: Becky worked at a special-needs school here while living in Birmingham, and Sophie ran a work project here too. It’s also the town where Sophie’s and Becky’s parents first met.
A charming traditional tea room by the castle — just the place for a proper afternoon tea.
One of England’s finest medieval castles, with towers, ramparts, grand rooms and riverside grounds to explore.
A lovely weekly market in the heart of town — a relaxed way to spend a Sunday browsing local stalls.
Birmingham is close to our hearts: Becky studied here for her Fine Art degree and, more recently, lived here again before moving to the Netherlands. We spent many happy weekends together at Becky’s flat in King’s Norton.
Great for a proper Sunday roast — and if that’s not your vibe, it’s a good area to find plenty of other spots.
A striking modern landmark worth a visit for the architecture alone, with a secret garden and sweeping city views from the rooftop.
A fitting stop given Becky’s fine-art roots — a grand museum famed for its Pre-Raphaelite collection.
